3+ Days Yacht Racing
Lasting over 3 days in length of continuous sailing, day and night. We were faced with extremely light winds to only fill in during our last leg with a steady 15 knots.
This year I had the role of doing onboard reporting for North Sails making social posts throughout the race. One of the toughest challenges was delivering the content on limited internet, as when you enter the middle of Lake Ontario you enter a dead zone. Also making things like gathering weather data and surrounding competitor positions not possible. For processing, LR mobile was a game changer for me to edit on the fly with all my presets synced to my phone, making delivering content easy, once I had internet.
